mixed experience with noticeable shortcomings
stained carpets scalding water
the cleanliness left something to be desired. i noticed stained carpets in communal areas. the bathroom had issues with a difficult-to-use shower and scalding water. the tv did not function at all (i found this unacceptable).

The hotel's location was very convenient. It was a short walk from both the rail and bus stations. The staff were friendly. I was able to leave my luggage at reception after checking out.

great location short walk historical function room early breakfast
the location was great for coastal walks. it was only a short walk to the rail and bus stations. i found it convenient for accessing local amenities. the hotel had a separate function room with historical significance, and breakfast started early (i think it was 0730).

my room was spacious with a comfortable bed. there was also ample storage space. the bathroom was clean, and i had access to a good amount of hot water (which i always appreciate).

the breakfast service was quite nice. there was a nice selection of cereals available. cooked breakfast was also an option (especially the sausages). the staff were both efficient and friendly.

The hotel location was central. The breakfast included a variety of options. The staff assisted with storing our bicycles safely. The hotel has great proximity to many shops.
The bathroom was quite basic. The shower pressure felt a little weak. The shower dial did fall off during use.
